On the 9th and 10th of July, our project partners CEDER-CIEMAT hosted the 1st congress of the CIEMAT Energy Department. This event featured several European projects, AGISTIN included.
The AGISTIN project was presented in detail, offering attendees in-depth insights into its objectives, innovative methodologies, and the state-of-the-art CIEMAT test-bed supporting its development.
The congress was attended by more than one hundred participants from the five divisions and 19 units into which the energy department is structured.
During the two days of the congress, several round tables were held on the activities of the different R&D lines of the department, in which the attendees had the opportunity to participate in the projects that are currently underway around smart grids, making them aware of what each of the projects consists of and visiting the facilities and equipment involved in their development.
The congress was inaugurated by the CIEMAT director general, Yolanda Benito, accompanied by the government sub-delegate in Soria, Miguel Latorre, and by the director of the energy department, Mercedes Ballesteros, together with institutional representatives of the town council of El Cubo de la Solana and of the Entidad Local Menor de Lubia.
