The AGISTIN project will participate in the online workshop “Optimising Grid Resilience: Exploring Hybrid Energy Storage and AI Solutions”, on the 25th June (10.00-12.00, CEST) promoted by StoRIES project. AGISTIN will be represented by the project coordinator, Gianluca Lipari (EPRI).
The workshop aims to explore the latest innovations and applications of hybrid energy storage systems, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss key challenges, opportunities, and future directions in this rapidly evolving field.
The agenda of the workshop is organised in two parts:
- The first section explores the innovative world of hybrid energy storage systems and their pivotal role in enhancing grid resilience and reliability. Leading experts will discuss the integration of multiple storage technologies to optimise energy storage capabilities and support the transition towards a sustainable energy future.
- The second part of the workshop will discuss gaps and opportunities in AI-ready data for grid-scale storage technologies, addressing the following questions:
- How data can support the optimisation of hydrogen use for applications in heating, electricity, fuel production?
- What are the main challenges in setting up relevant data space for achieving the optimized H2 usage? How required technical data could be extracted and curated by AI while privacy and confidentiality being addressed?
- What lessons can be learnt from recent advancements in digital technologies?
